A request for help
Submitted by kirk on Fri, 06/22/2007 - 08:32.Realistically speaking, I'm never going to write hundreds of pages that people will want to come here to read. I can have high hopes and aspirations, but it won't happen. This is where I can really use your help: feel free to move in, take over, and make this your own site!
All registered users can create their own web pages. Click on the Create Content link to the left, click "Story", then fill out the forms and press "Submit" at the bottom. Voila! Your very own web page!
Genealogy Information
Submitted by kirk on Mon, 05/28/2007 - 17:10.I've moved all the information from the old genealogy database at subwiki.honeypot.net into a new system powered by phpGedView, which is vastly better in every way.
The new system is online at http://www.strauser.com/phpGedView/ . It currently has its own registration system, but I'm working to link it into the main Strauser.com website. Please help me in the mean time by ensuring that the information I copied over is correct. I moved it by hand in one marathon session and want to make sure I got it right.
Strauser Coat of Arms
Submitted by kirk on Sun, 05/27/2007 - 12:06.Thanks to the fine folks at Family-crests.com, we now have a nicely drawn version of the Strauser family coat of arms available for download.
Welcome to Strauser.com
Thanks for visiting our new website! We've moved onto a new, easy-to-use system that gives family members a place to write blogs, publish photo albums, record your family history, and talk to your relatives. This is still very new and experimental, so please feel help me work out the kinks by putting it through its paces.
This site is dedicated both to the preservation of our family's historical records and to providing a valuable information resource as we move into the next century.
Remember, this site and all related services are wholly owned and operated by the family for the benefit of the family. This is your home. Your contributions, opinions, and comments are always welcome and encouraged.
